Expo 81 - L'humour et la médaille à la Monnaie de Paris

Why “after”? This print is an interpretive artwork: it was drawn by another artist — often a master lithographer — after an artwork by Ronald SEARLE. When artists engrave or draw the stone or the plate themselves, the result is an original artwork.
